I expected better from Inkitt.

It wasn't a total washout, yet I didn't get a single subscriber. Not one.

People still add "Let's Play, My Love" to their reading list, and they like the short stories that I've uploaded...probably because they're free.

I am SO tired of giving away the best of myself for nothing in return.

Noir Pages is an app for Black authors of Black "romance". It was co-founded by the same two authors that led me to Inkitt. THEY'RE doing well, of course. I just need to catch up...

Just re-edited "Hissyfit" with a spicy, new ending.

I uploaded it to Inkitt to see if a new audience will be receptive to my writing style.

Yes, I have uploaded the new version here, and you will NOT be sorry for downloading it again.

Following the examples of two indie authors that I respect, I moved my work to Inkitt in a better effort to grow my audience of readers. A writer without readers is courting madness.

It's a subscription site, and I offer two tiers for your reading pleasure. I'm even offering Let's Play, My Love as a freebie for those who need to be introduced to my writing style.

FINALLY finished re-editing Book Two! Created a whole new chapter at the end, including everything that I should have put in the first time! Now, I just need to get my ISBN's together to re-release it...

Have you ever been so thoroughly pissed with yourself that you wanted to lock yourself into a dark place and hibernate until you become an entirely different form of life?

That's where I am. Unfortunately, I am still me, and work still needs to be done.

I am STILL re-editing Book Two. Pretty sure you'll thank me for it later when you read it, but I cannot move on to my next project (She's the Master) until this book is back on the market.

Says me. So let me get back to it.

I totally blew my deadline for my first post of "She's the Master".

No excuses. Just a very simple reason: life got in the way.

I also write vanilla fiction, and releasing my latest story required more of my energy than I had anticipated.

So...I'm playing catch-up.

I am focused on tapping out those first three chapters before the characters in my head drive me insane.
